The interior design of this UK based office was inspired by the engineering work that will be done. It features several huddle rooms, a cafe and an expansive open office area with movable desks. The finishes all have an industrial air to them and we kept the ceilings open to showcase the innerworkings of the building itself. Providing further inspiration to the engineers in the space!

A Financial Firm Office Tuned to Bristol's Engineering Roots
Bristol Financial is a financial firm's office in Bristol, England — a city long associated with engineering and aviation. Kuchar received what amounted to a typical white-box delivery and built the design around the work the company would do inside it and the heritage of the city around it. Aviation cues run throughout the space: the reception desk takes its lines from the Concorde, a lounge coffee table is fabricated from an airplane engine fan, and the conference room fixture from Sancal echoes the curvature of aircraft interiors. The café anchors the floor with a black micro-tiled ceiling and an industrial stainless steel kitchen. Bomma pendants with thick leather straps, nuts-and-bolts graphic wallcovering, deep navy touchdown spaces, and a wellness room mirrored like the rings of a tree carry the engineering language into every quieter corner.
Office interior design for financial firms operates inside a narrow margin: the space has to read professional to clients, signal seriousness to investors, and still give the team a reason to come in five days a week.
