Our team walks through the existing home with the client to learn about what they like and dislike. This helps us make sure we are on the same page with what the homeowner likes for colors, materials, furniture styles, lighting, and more, giving us a guide throughout the project.
Construction documents
We prepare highly detailed drawings for contractors, something that is especially critical in renovations to document existing conditions.
Design and space planning
During our whole home interior design work, we will build curated presentations, including 3D renderings, floor plans, and selections for lighting, furniture, and custom millwork.
Implementation and procurement

Do you work on single rooms?
We would love to help you transform a room into the space of your dreams, but we only do so as part of large-scale transformations, as we don’t take on single-room projects.
Can we change the layout?
Yes. Depending on goals, Kuchar conducts space plan studies to explore expanding kitchens, reconfiguring bathrooms, or adding closets.
What can we keep from the existing home?
Many elements can be retained, and we’ll discuss your preferences before any projects. Our team makes a point to preserve the character of a home, such as through refinishing old wood floors or keeping vintage tiles and light fixtures as the perfect accents.
How quickly can my project be completed?
For the best experience, Kuchar recommends 6-8 months for design and documentation, followed by 3–6 months for construction and procurement.
