Private Coworking Space

This small coworking space is built for select startups.  The casual vibe of the office was created using bright colors in the furnitue and lighting.  The work space is completely reconfigurable to allow each company to create the ideal work space to fit their needs.

A Flexible, Brand-Neutral Coworking Space for Startups

Designed for a handful of select startups, this Chicago coworking space was built to feel vibrant while staying deliberately brand-neutral, so any company could make it their own. Working within a modest budget, Kuchar found inventive ways to keep the interior dynamic: earthy greens meet bright orange accents, a forest-green feature wall anchors the room, and a plywood accent wall adds warmth at little cost. Exposed concrete columns lend texture, while a café clad in grid porcelain chalkboard tile invites tenants to write their own mission statements. Even the smallest rooms pull double duty — a breakroom serves both lunch and daily standups — and a fully reconfigurable desk system lets each company shape the layout around how it works. Coworking design succeeds when a single space can flex to many tenants at once. Thoughtful coworking space interior design balances energy with neutrality — enough personality to feel alive, enough restraint to suit a startup one month and a small firm the next. In Chicago, where flexible workspace continues to draw early-stage companies, the details matter: reconfigurable furniture, zones that shift from focused work to casual conversation, and durable, budget-aware finishes that still look considered. A coworking environment built this way earns its keep, adapting as its members grow rather than forcing them to move on.

A Chicago Design Partner for Flexible Workspace

Designing workplaces that adapt to the people using them is Kuchar's craft, backed by more than 90 years of combined industry experience. Across shared startup floors and private headquarters alike, we shape spaces built to evolve as quickly as the companies inside them.
