The Link PHX
The Link PHX is a luxury apartment high-rise located in downtown Phoenix. Located in a gritty, art-filled area, our design solution brought together the artistic history of the neighborhood and the luxury goals of the owner. Our scope included the building lobby, amenity areas and corridors.

A Phoenix Luxury Tower Rooted in Its Arts District
The Link rises 30 stories in downtown Phoenix's Roosevelt Row Arts District, a neighborhood defined by street art, independent galleries, and a community of local makers. CA Ventures asked Kuchar to design the building's shared spaces — lobby, elevator vestibules, community dining and kitchen, an 8th-floor terrace, and a rooftop sky deck with pool and fireplace — for a luxury residential audience without losing the area's creative character. As visitors to the city, Kuchar walked the district to absorb its energy, familiarize ourselves with the vibe, and then built the interiors around a cool, textural backdrop of exposed structural concrete, custom rounded millwork, and minimal tile patterns, with bold accents introduced through furniture and finishes.

Multifamily interior design for a luxury high-rise has to work harder than a single private residence. Every shared space, from the lobby to the elevator core to the amenity floor and rooftop, is a daily touchpoint for hundreds of residents and the first impression for every prospective lease. Luxury multifamily design calls for an architectural envelope that holds up under that volume of use while still reading as specific to its location. For a Chicago multifamily interior designer working on a downtown Phoenix tower, that means treating local cultural cues — the arts district, the desert palette, the independent makers — as design inputs rather than decorative overlay, so the shared spaces feel rooted to their site instead of imported from somewhere else.
A Multifamily Design Partner You Can Build With
Multifamily interiors are a core part of Kuchar's practice, and our team carries more than 90 years of combined industry experience across residential, hospitality, and shared-space design. We design lobbies, amenity floors, and shared spaces that reflect a building's neighborhood and a developer's ambition — interiors that read as cohesive, considered, and unmistakably their own.
