Common Questions
What materials are ideal for a wellness space?
We recommend and source materials that will withstand products used during treatments (oils, lotions) yet still provide a luxury feeling. Products may include vinyl wallpapers that clean well, but look like natural products and flooring that has a soft texture but isn’t hard to clean like carpet.
What type of aesthetic should we have?
Every wellness and spa space has different business goals and, therefore, different personalities. We will listen to your goals and your ideal customer impression, then design a crafted interior experience that is unique to your business.
How do we conceal our equipment while still making the treatment rooms functional?
Spa and wellness spaces can be very technical, while also trying to create a serene experience. Our design team will create spaces that fully integrate the necessary functional items into each space that feels seamless to customers.
What should be included in the locker room?
If space and budget allow, we recommend including upgraded showers, steam rooms and/or saunas for those who want to extend their spa experience after service. At a minimum, small lockers for personal belongings and well lit vanities for post-treatment hair and makeup are useful for customers and will make them feel their needs have been considered.
