H.H.H. Showroom
The interior design concept for HHH's showroom was to create a vibe similar to what one experiences in a hip European hotel. Clean, simple textures are used throughout with a muted and cohesive color palette. The minimal interior is softened by imperfect archways. This shell creates the perfect canvas for the furniture product to truly shine.

A Showroom That Welcomes Like a European Hotel
H.H.H., a manufacturer of office and workplace furniture, came to Kuchar for a showroom at THE MART that would feel less like a sales floor and more like a hip European hotel. The concept began at the entry, designed to mimic a foyer — a partially enclosed area that welcomes guests in a familiar, comfortable way and creates a curated first impression around the featured furniture within it. Kuchar kept the palette serene and calming, with clean lines, simple textures, and imperfect archways that soften the minimalist approach. From the foyer, visitors move through organic-shaped portals to discover the rest of the collection. H.H.H.'s private office furniture is set apart by wood slat walls that divide the space without closing it off, holding the showroom's sense of openness and transparency throughout.

Office furniture showroom design in Chicago has to solve a particular puzzle: presenting workplace products in a setting that feels nothing like the average office. A showroom inside THE MART draws designers and specifiers who have seen every approach, so the space earns its attention by offering a mood rather than a hard sell. Showroom interior design of this kind depends on circulation — how a visitor is welcomed, where the eye lands first, and how one area opens into the next. Borrowing the calm of a European hotel and the intimacy of a residential foyer turns a furniture display into an experience, while wood slat partitions keep sightlines open so the full collection stays visible from nearly anywhere on the floor.
